Safe Operation
1. Fuel tank trucks should be equipped with dedicated fire extinguishers and equipped with tow chains and electric shock rods. The tow chains should be in contact with the ground while driving; when refueling or draining fuel, the electric shock rods must be inserted into wet areas.
2. The fuel tank filler port should be tightly sealed, the drain valve and drain pipe should be leak-proof, the tank vent should be unobstructed, the oil pump inlet filter should be cleaned regularly, and the fuel supply hose should be capped at both ends immediately after use to prevent the entry of dirt.
3. The carburetor and exhaust pipe of the internal combustion engine must not backfire. The exhaust pipe should be installed at the front of the vehicle.
4. Fuel tank truck operators must not wear shoes with nails. Smoking and ignition are strictly prohibited near fuel tanks.
5. When parking, keep away from sources of ignition and choose a cool, shady location during hot weather. Do not park under large trees or high-voltage power lines during thunderstorms. When parking mid-route, a designated person should supervise the vehicle.
6. During maintenance, if operators need to enter the oil tank, they must not carry any fire sources and must have reliable safety precautions in place. A dedicated person must be on guard outside the tank.
7. All electrical devices on the vehicle must be well insulated and sparks must be strictly prohibited. Vehicle operating lighting should be safety lights with a voltage of 36V or less.
8. If the oil tank sedimentation tank is frozen, it must not be heated with fire. Hot water or steam can be used to thaw it, or the vehicle can be driven into a warm room to thaw.
9. When performing maintenance or repairs under the vehicle, the internal combustion engine must be turned off, the handbrake must be engaged, and the wheels must be securely locked.
10. When a vehicle is tested after repair, it must be driven by a qualified person and no passengers or cargo may be carried. When testing the vehicle on the road, a test license plate issued by the traffic management department must be displayed.
11. When parking on a slope, engage reverse gear when going downhill and first gear when going uphill. Tires must be secured with triangular wooden wedges or other similar devices.
