The following points should be noted when maintaining a flatbed truck:
1. The connections between the flatbed truck's supercharger and the intake and exhaust pipes must be tight and leak-proof. Leakage between the exhaust pipe and the exhaust turbine will significantly reduce supercharger efficiency, causing a sharp increase in diesel engine exhaust temperature and damage to the valves and supercharger.
2. Before starting a new engine, the supercharger and supercharger oil filter must be filled with clean engine oil to ensure lubrication of the supercharger bearings as soon as the diesel engine starts. The supercharger oil filter element should be replaced after 8,000 to 10,000 km of driving.
3. Before shutting down the diesel engine, run the flatbed truck at idle speed for 3 to 5 minutes to reduce the supercharger speed and temperature. Monitor the operating sound of the supercharger. If any abnormality is detected, the truck should be shut down for inspection. If the supercharger rotor is stiff, sticking, or making a grinding sound, it should be sent to a qualified repair station for repair. 4. For flatbed trucks, check the clearance on the turbocharger rotor shaft and clean any dust and carbon deposits from the compressor turbine housing and rotor blades every 500 hours or 30,000 km. At this time, remove the turbocharger from the diesel engine and replace the metal gasket between the turbocharger exhaust pipes. Mechanical removal of deposits from the rotor components is not permitted; use gasoline or other cleaning fluids suitable for cleaning aluminum parts.
5. Do not remove the compressor locknuts on flatbed trucks, as this will disrupt the dynamic balance of the turbocharger rotor and cause damage to the supercharger.
6. When using a flatbed truck, do not damage or deform any rotating parts of the removed turbocharger, as this will affect the balance of the flatbed truck's turbine. Also, do not damage any rubber seals.
